ITALIAN ESPRESSO COFFEE RECIPES
Italian Espresso Coffee with Ice Cream
Ingredients for two portions
2 long coffees ,2 egg yolks
50 ml of milk 50 ml of milk
2 teaspoons of sugar
2 ice cubes
2 tablespoons of vanilla ice cream
Pour 2 coffees, 2 egg yolks, 50 ml of milk, 2 teaspoons of sugar and 2 ice cubes into a shaker. Close the shaker and shake well for a few seconds. Pour the drink into two glasses (preferably tall and narrow), add a spoonful of ice cream in each glass and serve.
Tips
If you want to pleasantly surprise your guests try this Italian espresso coffee recipe:
pour 2 cl of banana liqueur or syrup in each glass, add the drink prepared in the shaker as described above and serve with hazelnut ice cream.
Italian Coffee Muffin
Ingredients for 12 muffins
Butter for buttering the muffin pan or shaped paper
280 grams of flour and 160 grams of sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
50 ml of italian espresso coffee
1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon salt
120 grams of butter, 2 eggs and 200 ml of milk
1 package of vanilla sugar
100 grams of chocolate chips
Heat the oven to 200° C (for ventilated ovens at 170° C, for gas ovens level 3). Butter the pan for 12 muffins or put shaped paper. Pour the flour (sifted beforehand) into a bowl. Add sugar, baking powder, italian espresso coffee, cinnamon and salt, mix everything with a whip. Melt the butter and pour into another container, mix thoroughly by adding eggs, milk and vanilla sugar. Add gradually the preparation of flour to the preparation of butter, mix well until all the flour is well combined. Add 50 grams of chocolate chips. Pour the preparation thus obtained into the molds for muffins and sprinkle with the remaining 50 grams of chocolate chips. Place the pan on the middle shelf of the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Taste the muffins with a cup of genuine italian espresso coffee!
